| (a) |
To assist the Government Chief Information Officer (GCIO) in :
|
|
(i) |
formulating the Digital 21 Strategy in consultation with stakeholders, including the setting of targets, devising action plans and reviewing progress in implementation; |
|
(ii) |
mapping out the E-government policy and strategy and a programme of cross-agency projects; |
|
(iii) |
overseeing the processing of funding applications for administrative computer projects under the Head 710 Block Vote.
|
| (b) |
To supervise Divisions A, C and SD of the Office of the GCIO (the Office) in respect of the responsibilities listed in (a) above.
|
| (c) |
To advise and assist the Operation Divisions of the Office regarding the implementation of the policies and strategies listed in (a) above.
|
| (d) |
To perform other duties as directed by the GCIO.
|
