ITSC Demonstration Weeks Programme
 |
AM Session 09:30 - 12:30 PM Session 14:30 - 17:30 |
| Central Cyber Government Office (CCGO) |
|
CCGO is a wealth of information and electronic services that officers in bureaux and departments need in support of their day-to-day operation. These resources are brought together at a single point of access on the desktop computer. They are managed and can be accessed using Internet technology.
If you have experience in using the world wide web, you would appreciate how easy it is to obtain the information that you need when you need it. CCGO is a web service that is built on a service-wide Intranet for government officers.
From the CCGO, you can:
- Look up reference materials like Civil Service Regulations, circulars, manuals, IT information on the ITG InfoStation etc. from the digital libraries at your finger-tip;
- Have instant access to the latest service-wide information such as circular memos and participate in discussion forums;
- Undergo online multi-media training at your preferred time and at your own pace; and
- Conduct inter-departmental business, e.g. filing of departmental returns.
Come to experience CCGO and explore opportunities to make use of the Intranet/Internet, including examples of electronic procurement, helpdesk/inquiry and balanced scorecard (a web-based solution to measure the performance of an organization from perspectives on financial, customer, internal processes, and learning and growth).
