Organisations should ensure awareness of all staff on the importance of SAM and using only licensed software by

• drawing up guidelines and procedures on the proper management and use of software. 

• requiring staff to follow the SAM guidelines and procedures.

• regularly circulating the relevant SAM circulars and guidelines.

• making known to all staff the management structure, policies and procedures pertinent to SAM
