The Standing Offer Agreement for Data Centre Services (SOA-DCS) is part of the Government's IT outsourcing strategy aiming to enlarge the delivery capacity for IT services, accelerate the delivery of IT solutions and create a market of sufficient size to encourage the further development of the IT industry locally.

We awarded three standing offer agreements (SOAs) for the provision of data centre services to the Government at contractors' data centres and OGCIO's data centres for systems running on PC, Linux and Unix platforms. The SOAs commenced on 1 December 2008 for a contract period of 7 years.
