Recognition of Certification Authorities and Certificates

Code of Practice for Recognized Certification Authorities

In accordance with section 33 of the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553) ("Ordinance"), the Government Chief Information Officer ("GCIO") may publish a code of practice specifying standards and procedures for carrying out the functions of recognized certification authorities.

The following Code of Practice for Recognized Certification Authorities ("Code of Practice") is published by the GCIO under section 33 of the Ordinance.
