Responsibilities
- Manage data warehouse plans for a business vertical or a group of business verticals.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, work with cross-functional data and products teams and build efficient and scalable data solutions.
- Build data expertise, deep understanding of business domain knowledge and own data quality for allocated areas of ownership.
- Write SQL queries and manage data transformation to enable analytics and reporting.
- Support project development life cycles through data modeling, transformation, reporting and analytics.
- Build rich and dynamic dashboards using out-of-box features, customisations, and creative visualisations using in-house tools as well as third party tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, D3.js, HighCharts, MS Excel, etc.
- Automate solutions where appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science/Engineering, Math, Business Administration, or closely related, or foreign equivalent.
- 2+ years hands-on experience in SQL or similar languages. Development experience on large data sets and in at least one scripting language (Python preferred) is a plus.
- 2+ years hands-on experience in MicroStrategy.
- Strong data architecture, data modeling, schema design and effective project management skills.
- Proven experience in leading data driven projects from definition through interpretation and execution.
- Ability to initiate and drive projects, and communicate data warehouse plans to internal clients/stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, native oral and written fluency in Mandarin and English is a must.
- Should be willing to periodically travel between HKG and Singapore for on-boarding, training and professional upkeep.

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience working in optical engineering or design roles on an ISP- or enterprise-level network.
- Experience working with CDC ROADM, coherent transponders and flex-grid operation optical networks.
- Awareness of extended-reach modulation techniques for ultra-long haul and submarine applications.
- Preferred knowledge of IPoWDM, IPoOTN, and other hybrid packet over WDM architectures.
- Experience with the rollout of large DWDM networks.

Responsibilities
- Partnership Development: Recommending regional carrier partnership strategies for establishing long term relationships with key vendors and peers. Identifying appropriate partners for new cable projects.
- Network Development: Taking network development plans and working with the team to determine the best way to implement such plans through lease, buy, and build analysis.
- Contract Strategy and Execution: Lead the business negotiation process with internal partners and suppliers. Own closure on contracts. Develop negotiation approach, fallback positions, acceptable terms and conditions through to closure with a particular focus on terrestrial fibre.
- Network Optimisation: Work with the team to enhance the network’s fitness for purpose through key asset acquisitions or builds.
- Work with internal teams to ensure seamless arrangements are put in place for network management.
- New Project Development: Initiate and manage new build projects where appropriate.
- O&M Management: Optimise O&M as part of the technical and commercial negotiations as well as develop strategies for long term optimisation of O&M costs.
- Develop long term strategic vision and plans for the company’s network in the APAC region.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BSc or equivalent in technical or business related field with at least 15 years of relevant experience.
- At least 6 years of Sourcing Management or Supply Chain experience.
- Management experience in network related products and services.
- Willing to travel and work within the APAC region and undertake short-term business trips and medium term assignments to US and Europe as required.
- Knowledge of purchasing, and supply chain processes with particular regard to network, capacity and cable systems.
- Analytical and results focused.
- Business and technical knowledge of networks, their operation and associated performance and cost models.
- Experience in submarine cable O&M arrangements would be an advantage.
- Demonstrable expertise in strategic planning.
