The Hong Kong Joint School Electronics and Computer Society (JSECS) is a non-profit student organization established in 1979 that aims at arousing students’ interest in the aspects of electronics and computer. One of the main activities is the annual Joint School Electronics and Computer Exhibition (JSECE) which inspires students and the public to understand the importance of the application of electronics and computer in Hong Kong.
The 2013 JSECE “Innovating The Future” was held on 6 - 7 August at Cyberport. Similar to previous events, the exhibition featured on showcasing the winning entries and award presentation ceremony of the Hong Kong Outstanding IT School Award (HKOITSA) competition and Inter-schools microfilm competition.
The OGCIO also set up a booth to show students and parents information about admission requirements, programme structure, internship opportunities and graduate prospects of studying IT courses in local tertiary institutions, as well as the contributions and achievements of Hong Kong ICT industry, demand for ICT talents and prospects of ICT career in Hong Kong. We also invited young ICT ambassadors to deliver speech and share their working experience with students.
