Admission Requirements for Senior Year
Bachelor of Science in Information Management - Year 3 Entry

  • Local candidates holding a recognised full-time Higher Diploma or Associate Degree programme in any discipline of at least two years duration from a community college in Hong Kong are eligible to apply for admission.

Information professionals are a diverse occupational group in great demand in public, academic and special libraries, government agencies, and industrial and commercial companies such as IT, banking, advertising, publishing, and mass media. The BSC(IM) degree from HKU is an excellent basis for a wide range of careers. Graduates have obtained operational, managerial and research positions in a very wide variety of posts.
