Trust List of Certificate Types with Mutual Recognition Status

In accordance with the "Arrangement for Mutual Recognition of Electronic Signature Certificates Issued by Hong Kong and Guangdong", the Economic and Information Commission of Guangdong Province ("GDEI") (under the commission of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) and the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region approve certificate types issued by recognised certification authorities in Guangdong and Hong Kong respectively for participation in the mutual recognition scheme (certificates with mutual recognition status) and publish the information in the "Trust List of Certificate Types with Mutual Recognition Status" ("Trust List"). (Note: The English version of the Trust List is for reference only.)

The Trust List sets out the certificate types that have been granted mutual recognition status, method for verification of mutual recognition status and detailed verification information provided by the issuing recognised certification authorities.

1. Notice about the change of certification authority name in the Trust List of Certificate Types with Mutual Recognition Status (2.0) (30 June 2017)
   
   “Guang Dong Certificate Authority Company Limited” was renamed as “Global Digital Cybersecurity Authority Company Limited”, and obtained the Electronic Certification Services Permit from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. According to the “Arrangement for Mutual Recognition of Electronic Signature Certificates Issued by Hong Kong and Guangdong” and “Certificate Policy for Mutual Recognition of Electronic Signature Certificates Issued by Hong Kong and Guangdong”, the related information of “Guang Dong Certificate Authority Company Limited” in the Trust List of Certificate Types with Mutual Recognition Status (2.0) is updated. Also, the links of the Certification Practice Statements of the certification authorities are published.

2. Notice about publishing the certificate revocation list of electronic signature certificates with mutual recognition status (14 July 2017)
   
   In accordance with the current "Certificate Policy for Mutual Recognition of Electronic Signature Certificates Issued by Hong Kong and Guangdong" ("Mutual Recognition Certificate Policy"), Global Digital Cybersecurity Authority Company Limited and ShenZhen Digital Certificate Authority Center Company Limited had revoked the following electronic signature certificates with mutual recognition status to meet the requirement of face-to-face identity verification of the individuals in the current Mutual Recognition Certificate Policy.
