Trust List of Certificate Types with Mutual Recognition Status
In accordance with the "Arrangement for Mutual Recognition of Electronic Signature Certificates Issued by Hong Kong and Guangdong", the Economic and Information Commission of Guangdong Province (under the commission of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) and the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer ("OGCIO") of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("HKSAR") approve certificate types issued by certification authorities in Guangdong1 and Hong Kong2 respectively for participation in the mutual recognition scheme (certificates with mutual recognition status) and publish the information in the "Trust List of Certificate Types with Mutual Recognition Status" ("Trust List").
The Trust List sets out the certificate types that have been granted mutual recognition status, method for verification of mutual recognition status and detailed verification information provided by the issuing recognised certification authorities.

Below are the certificate types that currently have mutual recognition status:
Please note the essential information below when verifying mutual recognition status of a certificate:
- validity period of the mutual recognition status;
- "root certificate" and "signing certificate" of the issuing recognised certification authority; and
- Object Identifier ("OID");
in addition to other information as specified by the issuing recognised certification authority.
