2009/10 IT Training Programme for Manufacturing Industry (2nd project)

This project provided training to 455 practitioners in the manufacturing industry to boost their IT knowledge and 1,040 SME practitioners had registered with the online learning platform. The developed online learning platform allowed the SME practitioners to study the relevant IT knowledge through the Internet. The implementation was completed in September 2010. The training materials are listed below:

1. Product Design and Portfolio Planning
   •  Intellectual property and protection for new design (Traditional Chinese only)
   •  Rapid prototyping for new product development
   •  Material requirement planning (Traditional Chinese only)
2. Sales and Support
   •  Customers relationship management (Traditional Chinese only)
   •  e-Promotion
   •  Knowledge management (Traditional Chinese only)
