Travel Industry (Phase II)

 

This project purported to trigger actions of travel agents in adopting information technology, particularly on Customer Relationship Management (CRM), in their daily operation, business promotion and transaction.

 

The project comprised training and consultancy services on IT adoption for the SME travel agents, and the development of a CRM prototype for use by the travel agents to improve their competitiveness through the provision of more personalised service to their clients.

 

Five major deliverables were to be achieved through this project, namely: 

 

  1. completion of the CRM prototype entitled “Devising of CRM with web Usage for SME Travel Agents”;
  2. completion of pre-clinic seminars and consultancy session;
  3. completion of solution fairs and post-clinic seminars;
  4. completion of the report on IT penetration for travel industry; and
  5. completing of the brochure for distributing to SME travel agents.
