2011/12 Sector-specific Programme
The OGCIO provided sponsorship for two projects on business services and wholesale/retail sectors, namely (i) a cloud-based tele-protection system to enhance the efficiency of security guards (the "Security Cloud"), and (ii) a mobile application backed with a digital marketing platform to enable local SME retailers to disseminate more product information to customers (the "Consumer Connect"). The Consumer Connect and the Security Cloud were completed in January 2013 and May 2014 respectively. Relevant project information is as below:
