World IPv6 Launch (6 June 2012)

The Internet Society will organize the “World IPv6 Launch” event on 6 June 2012. On that day, participating websites, Internet service providers (ISPs) and home networking equipment manufacturers around the world will permanently enable IPv6 for their products and services.

The World IPv6 Launch will represent a major milestone in the global deployment of IPv6. Based on the results of the one-day World IPv6 Day event held on 8 June 2011, it is expected that the “World IPv6 Launch” will be transparent to the Internet users in Hong Kong.
