GovHK Mobile Applications

Hong Kong's mobile subscriber penetration rate has exceeded 250%, and mobile devices have become indispensable for Hong Kong people. In particular, it has become increasing prevalent for mobile device users to access information and use services through mobile apps. OGCIO has launched three mobile apps to enhance e-government services and communication with the public through the mobile platform. They are EventHK, GovHK Notifications and GovHK Apps.

EventHK

EventHK provides a one-stop platform for citizens to find public events which are organised by government departments or held at government venues. With EventHK, users can easily browse public event details whenever they are connected to the Internet.

GovHK Notifications

GovHK Notifications Mobile Application provides a one-stop platform for citizens to receive Government notifications. Through the GovHK Notifications, citizens can receive information and alert notifications according to their choice from various government departments with smartphones.

GovHK Apps

Our Government has so far launched more than 100 mobile apps. They provide services to citizens, ranging from interaction with public, handy information, health, education, leisure, and government publications. To let the public search and download government mobile apps conveniently and securely, the OGCIO launched the "GovHK Apps" as a centralized platform for citizens to download all Government mobile apps.
