Presentation Ceremony 2012-13

The inaugural Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme Awards Presentation Ceremony was held on 15 April 2013, as one of the signature events of the first-ever International IT Fest. Enterprises and organisations received commendation for adopting web accessibility designs in their websites at the awards presentation ceremony.

A total of 70 awards, including 44 gold and 26 silver awards, were presented to the enterprises and organisations from different sectors ranging from public transport, telecommunications, news, banking, medical, academia, information technology, public bodies and welfare organisations as recognition of their conscientious effort in adopting effective website designs to facilitate access to their website contents and online services by everyone including persons with disabilities.
