Hongkong Post e-Cert Certificate Revocation List

This notice alerts the public that Certificate Revocation List (CRL) automatically generated by the Hongkong Post Certification Authority ("Hongkong Post CA") is currently incomplete. Some 237 certificates that have been suspended or revoked are incorrectly omitted from the CRL.

Incomplete list has been being published since 9 August 2010 19:00.

A supplementary CRL has been published at Hongkong Post CA's web site at http://www.hongkongpost.gov.hk/news/press/50.html.

All parties who rely upon Hongkong Post CA certificates are advised to check the validity of certificates against both the automatically-generated CRL and the supplementary CRL published by Hongkong Post CA.

In accordance with Section 31(2) of the Electronic Transactions Ordinance, the Government Chief Information Officer has published the information contained in this notice in the on-line disclosure record for the Hong Kong Post CA.
