Over 650 datasets to be released in first year of government open data plans
The Government Chief Information Officer, Mr Victor Lam (centre), briefed the media on the implementation of opening up government data today (January 3). The Deputy Director of Lands (Survey and Mapping), Mr Ray Leung (third left); the Acting Assistant Commissioner for Transport (Technical Services), Mr Tony Yau (third right); the Assistant Director of the Hong Kong Observatory (Forecasting and Warning Services), Dr Cheng Cho-ming (second right); the Principal Education Officer (School Administration) of the Education Bureau, Ms So Yuen-yi (first left); the Executive Director (Corporate Services) of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Mr Darryl Chan (second left); and the Director (Strategy and Planning) of the Hospital Authority, Dr Libby Lee (first right), also attended the press conference to introduce data to be opened up by their respective departments and organisations.
