Education and Careers Expo 2016

We participated in the Education and Careers Expo 2016, which was organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) during 28 - 31 January 2016 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, to promote Hong Kong IT industry to the public. Over 800 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions participated in the Expo which was composed of two main zones (i.e. the Education Zone and Careers Zone). More than 100 events were arranged during the Expo, including seminars, theme day talks, and sharing sessions. The Expo has established itself as one of the most important events of its kind in Hong Kong and an effective interactive platform for students and job seekers to connect with a wide range of institutions and potential employers, as well as those offering diversified study and career opportunities.

We set up an exhibition booth with the theme “IT Industry, IT Career and IT Profession” in the Careers Zone to show visitors information about Hong Kong’s winners of ICT awards, demand for IT talents, prospects of IT career in Hong Kong, information on Hong Kong IT tertiary studies, portals of iStartup, Student IT Corner, and Enriched IT Programme in Secondary Schools, and the analyst/programmer grade within the government establishment.
