Medical and Health (Phase I)

This project aims to promote the adoption of IT among the medical doctors in private practice.  The objectives of the project were: 

1. to provide a brief concept of IT adoption in clinics;
2. to acknowledge the benefit of IT in the works;
3. to acquire the basic IT skills; 
4. to understand the IT needs / strategies of the clinics; and 
5. to help the clinics to realise the importance of information sharing between public health authorities and the private clinics.

The deliverables of the project included:

1. IT roadshows; 
2. certificate workshops;
3. condensed courses on basic IT training; and 
4. IT advisory service for the private doctors.
