Accountants
This project aimed to provide training service to the accountants in the SME and the Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) firms. IT roadshow was provided to promote a brief concept of IT adoption in these firms. Participating accountants were able to acquire more practical experience on basic IT skills from the roadshow and a certificate workshop course which provided training on IT adoption strategies and implementation issues. It was expected to improve the productivity and competitiveness of such firms.
The eight aspects of the training are:
- collaborative office automation;
- paperless office;
- using ubiquitous Internet & mobile services;
- selecting a software solution;
- business process automation;
- select, design and implement an accounting software;
- business, IT strategy and budgeting; and
- information security.
